PackStock 2024 – don’t miss it!

PACKSTOCK 2024

We are really looking forward to hosting our annual mini festival ‘PackStock’. Come and join us in the garden on Sunday 26th May. We have everything crossed for warmer weather and have a great list of bands ready to entertain you. Enjoy an afternoon and early evening of live acoustic sets.

Bands and solo artists that are playing this year

1pm to 2pm

Rich and Lou Duo – they have been playing together for five years and cover songs from the 60’s to modern day classics. Performing stripped back versions of songs you know and love, they create a big sound using guitar, cajon and soulful harmonies.

2.15pm to 3.30pm

Fiddle and Strum – brother / sister duo from County Down. They’ll get you singing along with a varied repertoire. They swing from table-banging Irish drinking songs to heartfelt folk music, and from Appalachian airs to country music bangers. With Jenny on fiddle and Michael on guitar, fingers will fly during the instrumentals and voices will soar in classic songs both modern and historic. Grab a drink, straighten your hat and enjoy!

3.45pm to 4.45pm

The Strays – are a 4 piece band that play covers of classic rock & ballads in a semi-acoustic style. They have performed at quite a few of the classic music venues in Bath and several times for us. Playing rhythm and blues songs from the 60s and 70s featuring artists such as Eric Clapton and Creedence Clearwater Revival together with a sprinkling of Americana folk from the likes of the Eagles and Steve Earle.

5pm to 6.30pm

Drew Neirin and the Star Shaped Pegs – Drew Neirin is a singer songwriter, blues guitarist & soul singer based in Bath. His musical style features a combination of bluesy, soulful & easy listening sounds with a unique & strong, soulful singing voice, and a distinct, contemporary style of guitar playing reminiscent of some of the great 20th century blues players. Drew performs regularly in various venues around the UK, and is frequently accompanied by his very talented band ‘The Star Shaped Pegs’.

6.45pm to close

Are Friends Acoustic – the band, Cathy, Pete and Gavin, are a local 3-piece ensemble putting a new twist (guitar and strings) on old favourites, with a “soft spot” for the ’80s. They have played several times at the pub and it’s always a fantastic lively event. A perfect end to our festival – have a dance, sing along to your favourite songs or just appreciate the great music!

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 27TH MAY
