WHAT’S ON IN OCTOBER

Special Events

Apple Pressing on Sunday 13th October 2pm

The annual ‘Packhorse Apple Pressing Sunday’ is upon us already! Come and see and join in discovering how PROPER cider starts its life.

The Honey’s Midford Cider team, and friends, will be milling and pressing cider, eating and cooking apples to make juice which will go away to ferment into fine cider.

If you bring some sound windfalls or picked fruit and containers, take away some of your own apple juice!

It’s good fun, children love helping and the grown-ups get a chance to find out about the fine and noble West Country tradition. And we love the challenge of converting normally non-cider drinker to the joys of the forbidden fruit. And a free pint to anyone named Adam or Eve!

See you there!
