Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and open fires, the Packhorse is the perfect place to enjoy your annual festive get together with friends and family or work colleagues.

This year our Christmas Menu will be available from Wednesday 27th November until Saturday 21st December (menu available Wednesday to Saturday both lunch and dinner services).

We have a great offer available if you book and pay your deposit before 31st October – you will receive an ‘early bird’ discount of 10% off the Christmas Menu!

Celeriac soup, truffle croutons, warm bread (Vg, GFO)

Dill & gin cured salmon, honey scone, horseradish cream (GFO)

Warm goose leg on toast, beetroot & orange puree, vegetable crisps (GFO)

Blue cheese, pinenut & parmesan stuffed poached pear, mulled wine reduction

Turkey two ways, bacon wrapped chipolata & stuffing (GFO)

Roast striploin, Yorkshire pudding (GFO)

Butternut squash & smoked cheddar wellington

(All the above are served with roast Koffman potatoes & seasonal vegetables)

Sea bass, new potatoes, seaweed,lime & caper butter (GFO)

Game & cranberry pie, mash potato, seasonal greens & port gravy

Panettone bread & butter pudding, orange liquer custard

Brandy soaked Xmas pudding, clotted cream
