Packhorse regular Julian Stirling tells the story of how an open, collaborative project that grew through years of work in Bath is developing microscopes to transform cancer and malaria diagnosis in remote and challenging places. The project is now supported by a new local charity, the Humanitarian Technology Trust. This is a talk for everyone about a microscope that can be made anywhere and used anywhere, from the Antarctic sea ice and the Amazon rainforest to wartime Ukraine.

The Monohummers are once again collecting money in aid of Dorothy House Hospice so please bring along cash for the collecting buckets – thank you!
