PackStock this Sunday(26th May)

It’s only 3 days until our inaugural mini festival ‘PackStock’. We are crossing every extremity for a gorgeous sunny day! Bring a blanket, treat yourselves to some food and drink, settle down and get ready to be entertained. We have a great line up of music planned to suit all tastes. Enjoy an afternoon and early evening of live acoustic sets, with a line up of local artists playing a musical range from soulful renditions of well known favourites to upbeat takes on old classics. Spanning genres from folk and roots through country blues, gipsy-jazz, bluegrass and Americana, to contemporary numbers and 80s classics with a new twist!

Live music starting at 2pm

Jess Chivers – singer-songwriter with a repertoire taking you through the Beatles, Johnny cash and throwing in some more modern covers such as Paulo Nutini, Dua Lipa and The Eels. Music accompanied well by sunshine and a pint.

The Beale Brothers – local Bath duo playing acoustic rock covers. Robbie on guitar and vocals, Dom on bass.

My Pub Choir – join some of the regulars of My Pub Choir to sing a collection of classic songs from the charts, led by Matt Finch at the piano. Harmony will be optional, but singing with gusto is a definite must!

Rohan – local Bath girl performing some Oasis, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran numbers.

Bob and Dylan (aka Mark and Graham) – a resident of South Stoke, 50 years after performing at Woodstock, Mark is delighted to be playing at PackStock, singing some of the songs of his old friend Bob Dylan! Graham is a member of Jonny and the Melancholy Cowboys band (a Packhorse favourite).

Artful Badgers – an energetic trio with double bass, guitar and fiddle, playing upbeat acoustic / roots songs ranging from gypsy-jazz and country-blues through folk-rock to bluegrass and Americana.

Are Friends Acoustic? – local 3 piece ensemble putting a new twist (guitar and strings) on old favourites, with a “soft spot” for the ’80s.
