“Back by popular demand, Christmas wreath making is a wonderful class that sells out year on year in a flash. This class is an opportunity to have a “fizz-tive” get together, with new friends and old, whilst creating a fabulous wreath to adorn your door over the Christmas period. Expert Florist Emily will demonstrate how to make a fresh foliage moss-based traditional door wreath step by step and will be on hand to assist and answer questions throughout the class. Once you have made your fabulously mixed foliage wreath design, this is your opportunity to decorate and personalise your christmas creation. Plenty of glittery festive fun for everyone!”

Candle Making Workshop
Thursday 30th November 11am £70pp**
“Join experienced chandler, Becky, of Melksham’s Hazel & Blue, for a relaxed and interactive candle making workshop. Whether you are a complete novice or a pro candle maker, Becky will guide you in the art of soy candle making teaching you the tricks of the trade. Once you’ve learnt the techniques, you will choose from a variety of pre-blended scents and make your very own festive soy candle to take home with you, plus all of the tips & tricks to make your own candles at home!”

Macramé Christmas Workshop

“Another festive addition to our calendar this year for a calming escape from all of the Christmas madness! Make your own colourful macramé plant hanger. Join us for a fun, sociable, two hour workshop and learn the therapeutic art of knotting. Choose from a range of colourful cotton and wooden beads to create a beautiful item to hang proudly in your home or to be given as a thoughtful handmade gift. Macramé is a popular and mindful craft which provides you with a great sense of relaxation and personal satisfaction. In this workshop, you’ll receive step by step guidance from experienced teacher and macramé artist, Emma Rogers. Suitable for beginners with all materials provided, plus plenty of fizz and Christmassy fun!”

Table CentrePiece Workshops

“New to The Packhorse this year, this class is aimed at everyone and anyone – a few hours full of festive fun (and fizz) – why not bring a friend or make this your Christmas outing? Expert Florist Emily will demonstrate how to make a fresh foliage centerpiece step by step and will be on hand to assist and answer questions throughout the class. Once you have made your fabulous centerpiece design, you will decorate this to enhance its natural beauty. By the end of the class, not only will you have had a fun and festive time, you will be leaving with a masterpiece to don your dining room table and be the envy of all your guests this Christmas”.

Christmas Card Making Workshop
Thursday 7th December 6pm £65pp**
“Join local artist, Catherine Beale, in our first ever Christmas card making workshop. In this workshop you can expect to learn new skills, whilst also singing your heart out to the likes of Slade, Mariah and Michael Bublé. Cathy will guide you through different technique styles for you to be able to create beautiful individual Christmas cards for your friends and family. Not only will you make your loved ones beautiful and unique Christmas cards, but you will be able to go home with the knowledge and skills to never have to buy a pack of cards from Sainsburys ever again!”
